Travel, Nature, and Technique
Art is more than representation; it is my way of observing and inhabiting the world. As a fine artist specializing in watercolour, I embrace the transparency and fluidity of this medium as my primary tool for visual exploration. My path combines a self-taught spirit with rigorous professional training, shaped by continuous study alongside some of the world’s leading contemporary watercolour masters.
Travel as a Method: The Art of the Sketchbook
For me, travel is a discipline. Through my Carnet de Voyage (travel journals), I use drawing and watercolour to “dissect” locations. Every sketchbook is a deep study of light, composition, and atmosphere. This plein air practice allows me to gain a profound understanding of a landscape, which later informs the larger, more complex works I create in my studio.
Soul and Structure: Animal Portraits
Alongside landscapes, my work delves into the identity of the animal world. I view animals not as mere subjects, but as a gateway to exploring expression and identity. In this field, I often pair watercolour with charcoal, allowing for a more structural and analytical approach to form, capturing the inner strength and spirit of creatures ranging from my own Siberian cats to untamed wildlife.

Process and Fluidity
In my studio, I pursue controlled layering while welcoming the unpredictability of water as an essential part of the creative process. My style moves between the graphic precision of drawing and the atmospheric dynamism of colour, creating a constant dialogue where each gesture seeks to freeze the ephemeral on archival-grade paper.
Authority and Collaborations
My professional journey includes collaborations with historic institutions in Turin, creating limited-edition thematic postcards that bridge fine art with cultural publishing. My technical background is rooted in elite institutions such as Ondacreativa Padova and Artefacto School, having studied under masters like Barnaba Salvador, Konstantin Sterkhov, Eudes Correia, Beppe Stasi, and Giulia Fontana.
