In my artistic practice, I employ two primary mediums to bring these subjects to life:
- Watercolour: Perfect for capturing the softness of fur, the shimmer in a pet’s eyes, and delicate chromatic nuances, resulting in a luminous and expressive artwork.
- Charcoal: A medium I cherish for its ability to produce deep contrasts and an intense, soul-stirring presence, focusing on the raw expression and the timeless essence of the subject.
This collection is deeply inspired by my daily life with my two Siberian cats, but it extends to all “furry friends” and wildlife. Each portrait is crafted using professional, archival-quality materials, ensuring a lasting tribute to the animals that touch our lives.
